This listing is for one Simply Steampunk small cog lapel pin with a sterling silver pin protector.
These are perfect to make a statement everyday, they can be worn in your lapel, a blouse or shirt or even a Bowler hat. It would go perfectly with my other Simply Steampunk items you can find in my shop, earrings, and pendants are available with a few one off pieces too. 🙂
The Cog that makes the pin is 1cm across and is sterling silver with a standard sterling pin of 11mm and a sterling silver back. It is a perfect accompaniment to a suit, shirt, coat or hat.
*Please take care when attaching to clothes as Sterling silver can be soft and shouldn’t be forced through dense materials like some tweed and linen, this may bend the pin. It will be easier in materials like wool and cotton, or cheaper bowler hats-but please note it may mark finer materials where the pin goes through.

I designed this story locket with the South downs in mind, it is called "Spring has sprung on the South Downs" My workshop is nestled at the base of the south downs and I can see Cissbury Ring from our house, so it is close to my heart and a great source of inspiration to me. This one of a kind piece idea came to me after a sunny walk on the Downs in the spring. On one side of the locket it has the hills of the downs near Findon, flowers are blossoming in the meadows and a real gold sun detail is looking over the valley, and on the other is set a beautiful and uniquely marked Moss Agate, so it can be worn facing either way, and opened and a small note, spell or keepsake can be kept inside where there is another hidden bit of nature. This locket would be perfect popped onto a long chain, which could be supplied at an extra cost, but will come on a complimentary 16/18" Sterling silver chain. Lots of different techniques have been used in the making of this piece.It is held closed with a handmade fig 8 clasp. Full UK hallmarks on the ring (This lockets is handcrafted in an organic style and and not machined or stamped from thin sheet, it will not be watertight.)
