As a small business, I am required to use personal data for processing orders and doing my accounts etc, and I am required to inform you of how I keep your information.
I collect some of the following data for orders;
Names, addresses, emails, personal data such as dates and names for personalised orders. Occasionally a phone number if a customer would like to discuss something over the phone (I still confirm details via Etsy message)
Personalised items, using personal data such as dates and names etc, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have permission to share this information with me if details involve a third party, and this information will be stored securely within Etsy messages.

Payment Processing
All payments are processed via Etsy or a third party website such as Paypal.
These sites are governed by their own policies. Users submitting information to or through a third party should review the privacy statements of these websites before providing them with any personal information.
You may request any personal information which I hold about you and you may ask for it to be deleted.
I do not retain customers information any longer then required, but will retain some information for accounts, and statistical purposes.
HMRC state: I must keep records for at least 5 years after the 31 January submission deadline of the relevant tax year. HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) may check my records to make sure you’re paying the right amount of tax.
Data destruction – after the required length of time the documents will be shredded or deleted as appropriate.
